The City of Brooksville has been awarded various grants to benefit the community and citizens of Brooksville. These grants come from various federal, state, and local sources. In addition, grants were received from other funding mechanisms, such as the legislative appropriations.
The various grants/funding received are being used to implement infrastructure improvements as well as to provide various services to residents of the City of Brooksville, upgrade first responder communications equipment to foster interoperability with other agencies, purchase of equipment and supplies to enhance the COVID response and prevention efforts, fill COVID-related revenue shortfalls and facilitate virtual meetings as well as improve Parks & Recreation facilities within the city.
Most grants require match to share the cost between the federal, state, and local agencies. Match can include, but is not limited to: cash contributions, in-kind time and effort, equipment and supplies, and physical space.
