The City of Brooksville Parks and Recreation Beautification Board's 36th Annual Arbor Day Celebration will be held in Tom Varn Park on Friday, April 25, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.

The event will feature the planting of two trees, the official reading of the Arbor Day Proclamation, and inspiring talks from the following guest speakers:

Joanna from Roberts Tree Care Center – An experienced arborist who will share valuable insights on tree care and the importance of preserving our urban canopy.
Vince Morris from the State of Florida Division of Forestry – A forestry expert who has generously donated two 15-gallon trees and one 5-gallon tree for planting. He will discuss the role of forestry in sustaining healthy communities. Vince Morris also selected the perfect location for these trees to grow and thrive!
We’re also excited to welcome Project Looking Ahead, who will join us with fun Arbor Day activities for all ages!
