The Customer Service/Utility Billing Department is responsible for providing prompt and efficient service for the City’s customers and other City Departments. Customer Service handles applications for new and existing services relating to water, wastewater, recycling and sanitation.

The Customer Service/Utility Billing Division is responsible for water, wastewater, and sanitation billing, customer accounts, service readings, answering customers' questions regarding water, sewer and garbage billing, and collection of cash payments on customer bills and the recording and posting of these transactions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Cashier functions
  • Cashier
  • Customer correspondence
  • Customer records
  • Data entry
  • Maintaining utility information pertaining to meter readings
  • Preparing utility billing
  • Meter service work orders
