This position is responsible for assisting in the maintenance and/or repair of the City Cemetery and other facilities utilizing manual and semi skilled tasks and/or various types of specialized equipment. This position requires the application of people skills and the responsibility to enforce policy and procedures that relate to the operation of the cemetery. Work is reviewed through personal inspection and observation of compliance with established work guidelines and schedules by the Supervisor. May be scheduled nights, weekends and Holidays, and subject to call out. Position is supervised by the Cemetery Sexton. $9.87 hr, full-time with benefits. FINANCE DIRECTOR- Professional & administrative position responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating & directing the complex financial activities of the City. Responsible for administering, directing & coordinating all accounting, budgeting, debt management, collection of revenues, investments & fiscal activities of the City. Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related with ten years + experience. This is a position responsible for enforcing the Laws of the State of Florida and City of Brooksville Code of Ordinances. Duties include, but are not limited to, modern patrol techniques including a working knowledge of Community policing practices, defensive tactics, traffic control, police vehicle safety, firearms, investigations, first responder techniques. Knowledge of criminal justice system and courtroom procedures required , along with daily public contact requiring tact, courtesy and interpersonal communication skills. Supplemental academic incentive pay for eligible employees. Education: High School Diploma or GED, Florida State Certified Law Enforcement Officer.
