The Beautification Board is appointed by City Council and consists of seven (7) voting members and a City Council Member.This board is responsible for the beautification of the City of Brooksville through education of the citizens, utilizing contests, information, award programs, etc.The Board Members serve for 4-year* staggered terms of office, all expiring in December of their respective term, as amended by Policy No. 4-2008 adopted by City Council 10/6/2008 and are governed by Articles adopted by the Board and approved by City Council.

• Tracy Frazier, appointed February 2, 2009, to a vacant 4-year term of office which expires December 31, 2015*.

• J.O. Batten, appointed December 19, 2011, to a 4-year term of office which expires December 31, 2015*.

• Kim Lemon, appointed December 20, 2010, to a 4-year term of office expiring December 31, 2014*.

• Reiko Brown, appointed June 18, 2012, to an unexpired 4-year term of office through December 31, 2015*.

• Bonnie Meriwether, appointed September 21, 2009 to a vacant 4-year term of office expiring December 31, 2012*.

• Scott Renz, Chairman, re-appointed December 20, 2010, to a 4-year term of office which expires December 31, 2014*.

• Sarah L. “Sally” Sperling, Vice-Chairman, re-appointed on December 17, 2012, to a 4-year term of office which expires December 31, 2016*.

• Melissa Hemstreet, appointed January 7, 2013 to a 4-year term of office which expires December 31, 2016
