City Advisory Board Vacancies Print

City Council for the City of Brooksville is now accepting applications from individuals interested in volunteering their time to serve as a member of the following advisory boards or commissions:

Brooksville Housing Authority
Enterprise Zone Development Agency

Brooksville Housing Authority
One (1) vacancy to fill an expiring 4-year term of office through June 30, 2017.  The deadline to apply for this position is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 14, 2013.

 

Enterprise Zone Development Agency
The Enterprise Zone Development Agency comprises eleven members that serve four-year terms consisting of at least one local representative from each of the following categories: Business, Chamber of Commerce, Code Enforcement, Education, Financial/Insurance, Law Enforcement, Non-Profit, Workforce Development and three Residents. Click Here  for detailed board information.

More information on each Advisory Board and its function can be accessed under "Boards & Commissions" on the left side of our Homepage. All applicants are volunteers and must be registered voters in the State of Florida. Any other specific requirements are noted above in the position description.

To apply for a board position, please complete the Advisory Board Application (click on link) and submit it to the City Clerk’s Office at 201 Howell Ave., Brooksville, Florida 34601-2041. Positions will be open until filled. You may enclose a resume with your application; however a resume without the application will not be accepted.
