The Brooksville Housing Authority Board (BHA) is appointed by the Mayor of the City of Brooksville with approval of City Council, as set forth in F.S. 421.05 (Resolution No. 256 adopted January 29, 1968 and Resolution No. 91-10 increasing number of members). The BHA consists of seven (7) voting members. All reasonable efforts will be made to seek applications from residents* within the housing complex to serve on this Board, striving to appoint two resident members if possible.

The powers of authority of the Board are stipulated in F.S. 421.08, whereby it basically sets policies and guidelines for tenants to abide by, approves the budget for the BHA, signs the Annual Contribution Contract and amendments thereto. The terms of office are for four year terms. [Note: Resolution No. 2003-06 adopted 5/5/03 rescinded provisions for alternate members].

• Randy Woodruff, CHAIRMAN, Re-Appointed May 16, 2011 to a 4-year term of office through May 31, 2015
• Clifford E. Manuel, Jr., VICE CHAIR, Re-Appointed July 6, 2009 to a 4-year term of office expiring on June 30, 2013.
• James V. Brooks, Jr., Re-appointed August 16, 2010 to a 4-year term of office expiring on June 30, 2014.
• Francine S. Ward, Re-Appointed May 16, 2011 to an unexpired 4-year term of office through May 31, 2015.
• Sandra Roth,  appointed on December 17, 2012 to an unexpired 4-year term of office through May 31, 2015.
• Gary E. Schraut, Re-appointed June 18, 2012, to 4-year term of office expiring June 30, 2016.
